Data Migration - Azure - Salesforce project
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Models & Structures: Work closely with Data and Solution Architects to define and establish legacy and target system data models, including integration with reporting systems like EDW/DW.
• Data Interfaces: Collaborate with technical teams to establish interfaces for legacy systems, staging areas, and target systems to support data migration and project interim states.
• Data Acquisition & Ownership: Identify, obtain, and manage source data with stakeholders while implementing data survivorship rules for merging and matching master data.
• Data Quality & Remediation: Work with business and technical teams to assess and improve data quality in legacy systems, establishing cleansing frameworks and leading data quality remediation activities.
• Data Mapping & Transformation: Design and build processes related to data mapping, transformation, and acquisition, ensuring data integrity throughout the process.
Required Experience:
• Proven experience in large data migration programs, especially with Salesforce data migration projects.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce data structures, data models, and building and migrating data.
• Expertise in data mapping, scoping, and transformation processes.
• Experience working with Azure Cloud Data Services and Databricks is highly desired.
• Experience working with ADF ( Mandatory )
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work alongside Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure data aligns with business rules and system configurations.
