One of Australia's biggest brands in the utilities space undergoing a massive digital transformation is seeking an experienced Principal Architect - Salesforce, to drive strategic architectural decisions, leading a team of 3 experienced solution architects. This role is focused on aligning technology solutions with evolving business needs, enhancing enterprise capabilities, and fostering innovation.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce architecture, with experience in utilities or telecommunications sectors being highly desirable. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organisation that is shaping the future of its industry through technology.

About the Role:

• Lead and mentor a team of Technology Architects to design innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and execute technology strategies to align with evolving business needs and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to co-create IT strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Guide architecture efforts for digital transformation, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, improving the overall productivity and competency of the architecture community.
• Influence strategic investment decisions by delivering robust architectural blueprints and roadmaps.

About You:

• Over 10 years of experience in technology and architecture leadership across multiple sectors, with experience in utilities or telecommunications preferred.
• Strong background in various architecture domains such as Enterprise, Application, Data, and Security, with expertise in Salesforce architecture.
• Demonstrated success in leading business transformation and driving strategic technology initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with Agile delivery methodologies and modern SaaS/cloud technologies such as Salesforce, AWS, and Azure.
• Proven experience in managing and coaching teams, fostering collaboration, and driving high-performance culture.
