IT Systems Engineer - Active Directory Specialist

• Hybrid (1-3 days in office), South-east location
• $110k-120k +super + NFP salary packaging

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Systems Engineer/Active Directory Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract, which is likely to transition to a permanent role.

This 100% project focussed role will require you to draw heavily on your AD experience, and have strong experience managing both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead problem resolution, provide technical guidance, and mentor other team members on all things Active Directory and related systems.
• Deliver key project outcomes for a significant progamme of work, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Identify, design, and implement technical solutions that address business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders every step of the way.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisations cybersecurity, safeguarding critical systems and data.
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams, project teams, vendors, and the business, ensuring seamless communication and project success.
• Support the Infrastructure Manager in refining internal practices and processes, driving operational excellence.

About you

• Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related domain services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) design, implementation, and management expertise.
• Azure environment systems design, deployment, management, and scaling experience.
• Role-Based Access Controls design and implementation for secure system access.
• Experience designing and implementing Virtualization (VMWare/Azure), Backup and Recovery technologies (Veeam/Azure).
• VDI technologies management and implementation experience.
• Experience managing and maintaining Server and SAN hardware technologies.
• Successful project delivery within teams, including vendor liaison and negotiation.
