Security Architect (Crypto)

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of APIs, integrations, and overall IT infrastructure, with a focus on blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and associated systems. Your role will involve identifying security gaps, conducting security assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve security.
You'll also support PCI DSS compliance and contribute to the development of secure blockchain solutions, while staying updated on evolving security trends. The work will be split 60% architectural review of API integrations and 40% deep project involvement.
About the role:
• Identify and address security gaps in infrastructure, driving cross-functional solutions.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and framework development for APIs and cryptographic systems.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure the security of API and integration architectures.
• Support PCI DSS compliance from a technical standpoint.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to advise on internal smart contract security.
• Lead Red Team operations, providing analysis and recommendations for improved security.
About You:
• 5+ years in blockchain, with a minimum of 4 years focusing on blockchain security.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, particularly EVM chains, and security-critical backend systems.
• Expertise in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in crypto protocols and systems.
• Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven leadership abilities and a passion for continuous learning in the evolving blockchain space.
